Acupuncture Images |

|
We have come a long way in the USA!
All images except the face (and penny/needle) below are from clipart found on Microsoft Word.
That these images would be made available in clipart speaks to the growing awareness of acupuncture in our country.
More and more people have more than just a passing acquaintance with the profound effect of Chinese medicine in their lives and more and more are experiencing it for the first time each day.
Thank you to those of you who share your stories with others and help to promote well being through this wonderful medicine.
And ‘welcome!’ to those of you just taking a peek and looking to see what this is all about.
Your questions and comments are most welcome.
Please feel free to call or write with any questions about acupuncture to the email address below.

An Important Note:
The above image is not an accurate depiction of typical acupuncture needle placement. In fact, there is only one traditional point on the bottom of the foot and it is rarely used
Also, the needles here appear ‘cartoonishly’ large in comparison to the foot, unlike the real needles. But then, it IS a cartoon. ;) |

The Photo to the right is one that I took with my own Olympus C-5050 Zoom
Hopefully, this gives you a decent indication of the actual size of the average acupuncture needle. The handle is the thicker bit on the right. The shaft is quite fine, 34 gauge (some as fine as a hair). |
